February already but here in Spain it is still a bit chilly. Just the excuse I need to stay in the kitchen with a hot oven!
This site is largely about nice simple stuff that is easy to make and tasty to eat, with an emphasis on baking, my addiction. I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, I bake. There are hints and tips and I try to make the recipes as foolproof as possible. The idea is to have fun cooking and eating.
If you are new to cooking you will find plenty here to start you off, if not a beginner, you may find things you have just not tried before. I don’t like to use uncommon ingredients and if I do, it is for a reason, usually flavour. So get comfy, have a look around and get inspired!
The photo here is of a Minty Chocolate cake, just right for celebrations or having friends over. (It is so nice that I had to hide it in the freezer!)
